The New Hotmail

It seems every website is going social and every old website is getting revamped. Over the past few weeks, news was spread that a new Hotmail was due to be released. Microsoft have released Office 2010 Beta 2 stage and i was exited to try it out on my Windows 7 Pro. The Home and Student edition comes with all the major programs such as Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint, etc. I Downloaded the installer and to my surprised it installed all the programs within a minute. Now Office with all the programs installed takes up a few GB. I checked my Hard Drive and nothing was installed. Could this have an error? No, Microsoft have used the software that many other companies have used called Click-And-Run. What this technology, is install basic files on your hard drive. Apple Unveils New IPad

In what everybody already saw coming for weeks (months) now, Apple has just unveiled its latest product, a tablet called the IPad. Basically a bigger version of the iPhone which Steve Jobs presented the iPad during a press event in San Francisco. The most interesting news? It's powered by... An Apple processor, called the A4. The most shocking news? The price. The Basic Wi-Fi version costs over $450.00 while the 3G costs around $600.00 Whether people would support the cost of it - is another topic. Read More

Facebook's New Layout

{extravote1} If you logged into Facebook last night you would have noticed that Facebooks layout had changed. We asked a few people what their views on the new look were which you can read them below. Is it a change for the best or worse?

I have been a Facebooker since May 2009 and I had just joined when they had gone through a transformation. Millions of users were used to the original layout. The new layout sparked loads of complaints by users saying that they found the layout to complicated and too many links everywhere. (Now if you contact Facebook they wont reply, but it seems via all the forums, developer fourms, fan pages, that they have listened to its online users). Read More
